Together we rise...

Today, many students across our nation participated in a school walk out in protest of gun violence and spurred by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High shooting one month ago that left 17 dead. Our children deserve to be safe in school. They deserve better.
In Haiti, many children never get the chance to go to school at all. Of those that do, only 10% of elementary age children make it to high school. Haitian children deserve the opportunity to go to school. They deserve better.
We are different in so many ways, yet we are profoundly united by what is the same. God created us, each and every one of us, in his image. Let us come together to gather and share, laugh and play, learn and rise. Let us come together with a shared vision of bringing about the kingdom, here and now. For Haiti’s children. For our children. For God’s children.
Together we rise.
