“I’d rather see a sermon than hear one any day. I’d rather one would walk with me than merely show me the way.” ~Edgar Guest
This week, as you continue your Lenten walk from RVA to PAP…reflect on what your life tells others about what is important to you – about what touches your heart.
I like quiet. I like the peacefulness of still waters and cool days with just a touch of a breeze. And yet, the noise of Haiti is not too much...maybe the noise we hear is the sound of God rejoicing. The overwhelming sights and sounds of Haiti is the overwhelming love of God showered upon his people. God who is here with us...God in our midst.
“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by his love; He will exult over you with loud singing.” ~ Zephaniah 3:17
